This law firm practices in the wide areas of private, commercial and intellectual property law, particularly focusing on Italian enterprises operating over international markets, and on foreign firms concerned with Italy.
Since 1996 we have been providing legal service – both by counselling and supporting litigation – to many Italian enterprises engaged in UE, NAFTA and MERCOSUR areas, and particularly with Spanish-speaking countries. We also have represented many foreign companies and firms before Italian Courts or in business transactions.
However, most of the concerns of our law firm are actually limited to Italy e UE Countries, and in any case our relationships with clients and colleagues are imbued with the strictest Italian tradition about legal ethics. The same outlook is proper to our external counsels, who sometimes collaborate with us in editing these web pages.
Opening a website has been a very pondered choice for us, qualified by the recent approval of a new Italian ruling about legal advertising. Our aim was avoiding to lay ourselves to the charge of a cheap and unfair seeking for publicity. We decided for starting this site, just to make easier our communication to Italian and foreign correspondents. At the same time we are looking for playing a more active role in the exchange of juridical information between lawyers operating on the Internet.
Moreover, many lawyers of our firm’s and the owner Massimiliano Fiorin are actually engaged in several cultural and social activities, to which they participate expecially by delivering studies, lectures and research collaborations. According to this attitude, we opened over this website a blog and a site-frame (just for the Italian version) dedicated to various non-juridical resources.
That’s because of our choice of keeping up the tradition of Italian advocacy, according to which a lawyer has to be first of all a cultured man, then an upholder of liberty and a firm defender of individual rights, and finally a participating citizen of the community where he lives. This notwithstanding the growing complexity of law, that is calling for increasing specialization, and the new business models for the organization of the law firms.
At the same time, we do believe that every new voice on the web has a good reason to exist as long as it can send an original message. So, the message coming from this small-sized law firm is that Italian advocacy could find just in the full rigour and competence of its individual lawyers the necessary resources to be up to the task of dealing with the international market of legal services. For this reason we have never agreed to a business-oriented organization of our structure.
We are greeting every colleague – lawyers and any other professional operators involved in the world of law studies, Italian or foreigners – who are coming to visit these webpages, sincerely wishing that their contact would became an opportunity of exchanging useful information, knowledge and experiences.
In case that our webpages – intended just for information of professional operators – would excite the curiosity of a non-professional public, we kindly inform that we have not opened this site, at first, in the aim to offer legal help on the web. If requested of advice, we try an answer to everybody without any presumption, provided that we have not entered the Internet world to take an opportunity for advertising our legal services.
Clients of this law firm are selected upon the kind and the level of knowledge and experience we can afford for them: legal counselling that we are to offer will exclusively be intended to identified persons or firms. Every legal question can find a simple answer very rarely, and in any case we are legally prevented from offering any legal service to unknown people, or even to advice-seekers who are not willing to appoint a lawyer for a paid professional counselling. Otherwise, any different kind of legal counselling by e-mail would jeopardize the reliability of the advice.
